Goals for Program in India: To institute a unique program to train Health Care Professionals in India in "Patient Safety and Infection Prevention"

I am an educator; clinician with over 25 years of experience in transplant infectious diseases; public health/global health; infection prevention and patient safety. Over the years I have helped many health care organizations in India with capacity building by providing interactive teaching sessions. I have also worked very closely with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India in providing technical support for the National Aids Control Organization funded since 2005 by cooperative agreements with the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. (~ $16,000,000; INR 112 crores 2005-2020) .
